Mukuzani, most famous Georgian red dry, from PDO Micro-Zone “Mukuzani” in Kakheti. Crafted from select Saperavi grapes, aged in oak barrels for 9 months. Serve at 18°С after decanting or cellar ~10 years. Great accompaniment to game meats, grilled steak, liver, lamb Mtsvadi (roast meat of lamb).
"Nose of blackberry and rose petal. Full on the palate, it offers flavors of black cherry, cranberry, chocolate and a touch of smoke. There is a pervading sense of brightness throughout, although sneaky tannins provide for a hint of chalkiness on the finish.”(Mike DeSimone, Wine Enthusiast, 2017)
