Closson Chase is a pioneering winery in Prince Edward County founded in 1998, with chardonnay and pinot noir as its base, first from the South Clos Vineyard then adding the adjacent Churchside property. They have also branched out to make Niagara wines as well, notably from leased vineyards in the KJ Watson property that spans Niagara River and the Four Mile Creek sub-appellations. Winemaker Keith Tyers is well steeped in County wine-making, in his early years as assistant to founding winemaker Deborah Paskus. - Canadian Wine Insider

This has improved since first tasting, with pretty lemon/lime citrus, honeyed beeswax, herbs, and apricot aromas and flavours supported by bright acids on a lightweighted frame. It's dry with very good length on the finish. Tasted Feb/2019.
