Ahh...the struggle of terroir versus appeal. This is a 90 point wine, but I have to admit it if I tasted it blind I could have said it is a a Bordeaux, a Cali Cab, a Riofa, or a Canadian Cab from a warm year. That's what oak does folks. I'm just an enthusiast, not an expert so I can be vague like that. Nice oak spice, good tannic structure (drink within 5 years?), appealing resinated fruit (look that one up), fruit and oak integrated well, good length etc. Enjoyed it with a grilled sirloin with lots of pepper. Maybe a Syrah would have been a better match?
