The aromatic waft and push is just what we know, want and need from Paulliac, with the graphite meets pencil shavings...
Maturing, savoury, resinous-herbal, balsa wood and cedar aromatics lead off, with ripe-tart black berry fruit filling...
From a lighter vintage, but this sports quite deep colour, density and a fairly ripe nose of blackcurrant cedar, oak...

Blend of 67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot, and 7% Petit Verdot. Medium-high to high intensity aromatics feature lovely red cherries, dried floral, graphite, cedar oak, and some savoury notes mingling in between, all of which appears very nicely on the balanced flavour profile. It's full-bodied with gritty tannins and vibrant acids. Long, juicy finish. Enjoy over the next 5-7 years. Tasted Aug/2019.
