Similar to the 2017 vintage, but with some nuanced differences. Notes of honey, wet slate, apricot, pear, lemon, almond, passion fruit, and a floral note that is hard to place, but in a different spectrum than the white flowers of 2017. There is also a cheese rind quality that carries forward onto the palate. Medium bodied with high acidity. Excellent length.
Good acidity that moves into a rounder and spicier territory. One sip leads to another!! Went very well with grilled salmon with a rhubarb-based sauce.
