Garnet at the rim and aromas of blue flowers, dark fruit, meatiness, pepper, herbal-cedar (garrigue) and VA (not faulty, rather adding interest and complexity). The length is excellent. Moving towards the end of its run, so enjoy sooner than later. A nice Croze Hermitage to be sure. June 2022.

This is just lovely at the moment. Pours a deep ruby, starting to amber a bit. Fresh berries and a hint of eucalyptus on the nose, followed by pepper and dried herbs. Medium bodied, ripe and fresh, with a nice lingering finish of dried fruit and herbs (“garrigue” I suppose). I recall disappointment at the first bottle, but not now!
