I enjoyed that this was not your typical "dark fruit" wine. It had tobacco and earthy aromas. Smokey, leather and oaky flavors. Grippy tannins. Long finish.
Throughout the evening, it did not get any more complexed but the tannins did smooth out. So I would say decant only if you want to smooth out the tannins but do not expect anymore complexity.
