My taste in pinot gris/grigio tends towards the lusher gris end of the spectrum, such as those from NZ. That said, this wine is a great value at this price point... not a fruit bomb, but an impeccably balanced and food-friendly amalgam of fruit and minerality with a European flair. What is even more remarkable is that, 3-4 months after it garnered those platinum plaudits at CWA, it remains widely available at the LCBO. Last tasted October 2023.
