"Great value in a seafood white" says DL, and I heartily agree. I just enjoyed it with a meal that featured steelhead trout, and I'm really glad I stocked up on this fabulous value last year. It's drinking beautifully, and I still have several bottles left in the cellar. The 2024 vintage is now available, so I have some more stocking up to do. Last tasted July 2025.
Fragrant medium-high intensity nose delivers elegant lemon citrus, floral, leesy-stony minerality, ripe pear, spice & grapefruit aromas w/ some nuanced orchard fruit notes. It's medium-full bodied w/ impressive weight & concentration on the dry, structured palate. Lovely ripe lemon citrus, grapefruit, floral, leesy-stony minerality, pear & white peach flavours are neatly balanced. It has crisp, clean, juicy & structured acidity, along w/ some spice notes & a chalky mineral texture on mid-palate. Oyster shell mineral w/ spice touches linger on long, crisp finish. Tasted Apr. 2024. Score: 91+ pts

mmmm, citrusy. Mostly lemons I should think. Bit of pleasant bitterness there, and palate wakening acidity. Would be great with seafood...in fact, i had it with salmon - nice match. Fine value indeed. Tasted May 2024.
