The medium-high to highly aromatic nose is open and earthy with chocolatey oak, peppery spice, dark berry, blackberry, and savoury aromas. It's medium-full bodied on the dry and dense palate with plummy, blackberry, dark berry, chocolatey oak, and savoury earth flavours, along with some peppery and oak spice notes. The smooth, fine tannins are nicely structured and supported by crisp acidity. Well-balanced throughout with savoury, earthy, dark berry, and touches of peppery spice notes lingering on the long finish. Tasted Sept. 2024. Score: 91+ pts
