Easy drinking, soft, fruity in a new world warm climate style. Deep violet with purple streaks in the glass. Green pepper, damp earth, cocoa and mint on the nose. Mild tannins with med - to low acidity, and a short cocoa finish. Flavours of bing cherry and blueberry, and green pepper but no spice. Smooth and straight forward and pleasant, but lacking in structure(acidity, tannin, spice) for my palate. Drink now on its own or with pork souvlaki or steak tacos. Tasted Nov '11
