This is the least expensive of the Palacios Priorats, from younger (15 year old) garnacha and carinena vineyards...
Sourced from tender, young vines, this well-priced garnacha-carinena blend is terrifically aromatic with rose petals,...

A soft nose of raspberry, pepper and spice. On the palate its firm tannins and chalky texture were complimented by berry and plum flavours, rosemary, and a strong minerality. Very long finish.
Tasted March 2012.
The 2010 Álvaro Palacios Camins Del Priorat is a medium bodied, fruity wine, with intense aromas of red currant and blackberry. It has a forward acidity, refined tannins and a medium finish. Drink now or cellar for 5+ years. My impression: NICE, 89 pts – currently the LCBO just nearly sold out the 2008 vintage.
Tasted during 'The Wines of Alvaro Palacios' tasting organized by WineAlign on March 19th, 2012.
