This has fairly deep straw gold colour. The nose is soft yet rich with honey, mango and marzipan notes. It's full...

An off-dry, ripe orchard fruit and violet-scented pinot gris, fine value in a traditional Alsatian style. This would...

Deep straw with pink tinge in colour & medium+ intensity on the nose.

Positives: What a delicious wine featuring peach, pear, pink grapefruit, lemon/lime, lychee, beeswax ending off on a creamy finish. Off dry, medium+ body with medium to medium+ acidity & long length.

Negatives: None.

Interesting Thing: This is another two bottle wine that you can drink in a seating. The back label gives a lot of detail about this wine that would benefit consumers. Use the Viongier/Chardonnay glass if you have them.

Drink now on its own or pair it with shrimp tempura.

One of the better Pinot Gris products that I have tasted recently. Aromas of very ripe stone fruit such as apricot and peach followed by a rather full mouth-feel due to the lower than expected minerality. The finish brings to mind interesting tastes of orange creamsicle – remember buying those from the Dickey Dee guy? Tasted May 2012.

DL and Edward R summarize the consensus of our group tasting ('lesser' known white varietals).

It certainly was as they describe, and was the high note of the evening for me.
