Unbalanced at the begging, lots of tannins and an explosion of tears on the glass, it became delicious after one day resting at room temperature with a vacuum seal.
Try with duck confit or rare roast beef. Best 2013 to 2016.
Earth, smoke and peppery spices, delicious dark fruits, fine tannins, well balanced after short decanting.
Well worth the price and better than some other under $20 south american cabs imo. I will be stocking up on this in my next visit to lcbo. Tasted Dec 2012
Just simply great for the price. Aug 2012
A full-bodied wine lot of dark fruit and earth notes, with big tannic structure and a hint of oak and smoke. Slightly sweetness with medium finish.
Tasted April, 2012.
Fantastic nose with aromas of blackberry, raspberry, spices, nuts, toffee, tobacco, and tea leaves. More subdued on the palate where it is medium-to-full bodied with plenty of fruit, but the green tannins threaten the balance of the wine.
medium bodied cab, some cedar and berry notes. Not fantastic.
Dark berry fruit backed up by smoke and spice from well-judged oak. Fine tannin and acidity provide a nice balance. Very enjoyable wine, with complexity well beyond the price point - a stellar value for $12. Worthy of multpile purchase. Tasted July 2012/

Medium-deep ruby colour with an intense youthful nose of black currant, blackberry, pencil lead and a touch of roots.
The palate has a balanced acidity and soft tannin for its medium-full weight and a juicy, fruit-forward character.
