This is a very good sangiovese-based red that’s a great choice for hearty Italian dishes (like osso bucco and meaty lasagna) but also performs well outside the Italian culinary ghetto. The flavours are solid from start to finish, there’s a good shot of fresh acidity, and the tannins contribute seamlessly to the dryness. Here is a really elegant, super Tuscan style blend of sangiovese, merlot and cabernet sauvignon with a sense of place...
This slender, tart-edged but quite elegant Tuscan blends native sangiovese with merlot and cabernet sauvignon. It has...
Prune, tobacco, sweaty saddle leather, barnyard, smoky, resin and olive aromas. Dry, elegant, somewhat lean palate...

SuperTuscan 'LITE'?
Tastes like a good table Chianti, with some extra body from the CS/M and quite a heft of acidity.
Flavorful, refreshing, and goes great with our simple pasta lunch.
Ten dollars cheaper than my favorite Chianti, hence great value
