Aromas of apples, pears, dandelion flower, mineral and citrus. Smooth, fresh and quite fruit-forward with citrus peel, apples, green melon and mineral all nicely layered throughout. A balancing seam of acidity adds backbone to a very pleasurable semi-sweet wine. Wines made from Gros Manseng are valued for their versatility with food: try this one with a sautéed duck foie gras, chana masala with garlic, or smoked turkey sandwiches.
