A lovely reminder that red Burgundy can be both tasty and not overpriced. Not the most complex, but there's tons of classic cranberry and raspberry notes along with a hint of vanilla on the nose. Quite tart on the palate with somewhat grippy tannins and a good length on the finish, this one could last a few more years. Paired nicely now with roasted duck breast. Tasted March 2013.
