Savoury, smoky, succulent, quite intensely dark fruit flavoured, with well above average intensity and concentration,...
This is a vibrant deep syrah with a very lifted, piquant cool climate nose of pepper, capers, cassis and meaty notes....
A not particluarly distinctive syrah, a little soupy and lacking the characteristic peppery aromatics and the firm...

Smooth and a wonderful value.
The 2009 is as good as the 2008 (which was a very nice syrah). Dark ruby/magenta. This smokey syrah delivers typical spice and dark berry fruit, along with oak, vanilla and leather. The grainy tannins provide some grip. Good complexity and length. A half hour decanting softened things up nicely, and a grilled t-bone sprinkled with Montreal steak spice brought out some serious schmeck. 90+ so grip it n' sip it! July 2013.
Fantastic. Dark fruit (blackberries), peppery, great with mixed shishkabobs.
