This is a generous Merlot that shows great character in a quietly authoritative manner. Woodsmoke, milk chocolate, plum and blueberry notes please on both the nose and palate. This drinks softly but definitely carries a big flavour stick. Well structured and balanced with well-positioned tannins and a very enjoyable finish.
