The nose is a touch muted to begin with, but a little coaxing brings raw white rice, cucumber and hospital gown. The palate offers a riper perspective with pencil wood, cherry pit and ash. I like the chewy nature of the wine with the acids adding some very nice structure. Drink now and should hold for a few years adding on some fat as it goes.
