The 2012 Spy Valley Sauvignon Blanc, from Southern and WaihopaiValleys in Marlborough, has intense aromas of petrol and leechie on both the nose and palate. It is a medium to full bodied, dry, fruity wine; with good acidity, soft tannins and a lightly oaked, medium finish. My impression: NICE to BEAUTIFUL, 90 pts.
