Norman Hardies's 2013 Riesling is a light yellow wine with a hint of a green tinge. It offers pronounced citrus aromas with lemon, tart apple and mineral flavours. High acidity counters an almost off-dry style. Not austere, but there's a suggestion of stinginess due to the racey acidity. Light bodied, excellent length. June 2014.
Medium+ aromas of mineral and perfumed orange and peach. Medium-bodied palate and medium in sweetness with orange and peach flavours. A bit flabby. Easy drinking. Score: 88+ pts
