Home run wine for the price! Woodsmoke, ripe cherries with hints of ash and tomato leaf. Super refined tannins and soft acids provide a lushness on the palate and on the finish. Old world wine nurds will rejoice. ...especially at this price!

A somewhat lean Vino Nobile here from Cecchi. Light-medium bodied with sour cherry fruit, hints of earth and leafiness. Bright acidity and easy tannin. Good enough I suppose and scores for authenticity but I'd rather ante up more $ to buy Poliziano or Avignonesi if I want a really fine Nobile. Tasted May 2016.
