Excellent with just a touch of sweetness
What a great value for money. It is nice and sweet with good floral and citrusy notes. Good balance between the sweet and the dry. One of the best value for money white wines you can get and it is my normal house white. At $9.45 it is a great deal, on sale ($7.95) it's just incredible. Time to go stock up....
Smoking deal, accessible and wide ranging appeal but still interesting with complexity way way above its price. Just found a new house wine for weekday meals
While Chenin Blanc is often known for its dryer qualities this variety has a notable amount of sugars still present in the mix. There is a fruity nose immediately noticeable on opening the bottle, reminiscent of green apples.
This smell persists in the taste as well, bringing a while still light and highly drinkable wine, slight sweet and acidic undertones bring more body than is normally expected.
For the price of $7.95 this wine was a steal. It has a very nice fruity aroma to it that can make it a very dangerous wine as it is very easy to finish a bottle. My wife loved the lemony acidity of it.
We were trying to find a wine that was comparable to one we picked up at a winery in PEC by Sandbanks at a cheaper price. This one is not exactly but a very good alternative.
A good value wine, the aroma has herbaceous notes mixed with soft citrus. The taste was slightly buttery with moderate to low acid on the finish. This wine will please most tastes.
