This wine was really excellent with spicy pepper notes and ripe dark fruit flavours. The wine is quite warming with its higher alcohol content, but it was presented in a very controlled way. Extremely enjoyable.

Spot-on south Rhone red here from the Perrins. Loaded with spice, herbal-inflected dark fruits, and black pepper, this is balanced and pure. Embodies everything I love about south Rhone reds. Drink now -2020, Tasted May 2017.
