Cassis and fruity bouquet. Light on the tongue. Great Value!
A nice, simple red. The aromas are balanced with notes of oak, blackberries, cherries and leather. The taste is not as deep as the nose - but this pairs well with food. I just think that there are better wines available at the same price (particularly primitivos, if you want a fruit forward wine)
Blackberry on the nose, along with layers of cedar chest, unlit cigar, fresh cut bell pepper, chorizo sausage, and the smell of a five min rain shower on a hot and dry sunny summer's day. On the palate, it's blackberry and plum, with paprika continuing on with the chirizo notes from beforfe. There's a touch of spice. The tannins are rounded with soft edges and work well with the acid level of this wine. Med length on the finish. This wine requires food to really sing.
Tasted from the 375ml bottle. A simple and pleasant enough Chilean red. Herbeceous red fruit, soft tannin and a relatively short finish bely its modest origins. Don't expect to find any great cabernet character. What you will find is a perfectly serviceable red for weekday simple fare. ok price. Tasted Nov 2015.
The wine opens with a fruit-forward nose with blackberry and red cherries in bolstered by large cedar-y spice and oak Rather significant herbaceousness. The Somewhat rough and rustic on the palate continuous in nature, with Rather dusty tannins, earthy flavors, and thin red fruit. Acidity is fine and the wine: has a definite freshness goal all in all a simple and thin wine Rather That absolutely requires food to shine
