A pleasant, well-made, if not exciting, Cotes du Roussillon. Relatively low alcohol (13%) by regional standards, medium-bodied with moderately complex mix of black fruits and tart blackberries. Hints of underbrush and earth in the background as well as some hints of vanilla. Reasonable value at $15.95, picked up on sale at under $13. Tasted Oct 2017.
