They ensure the positive development of customer, staff and business relationships that support and promote responsible operational success. This CAPS program takes just over a year to complete, and the initial courses in wine production methods and sensory development introduce you to the skills and concepts that are fundamental to the later courses. The market for organic, biodynamic, and natural wines is growing — but what does biodynamic mean? How are these wines made? What do they taste like? Explore these questions and a great deal more. Sommelier and George Brown College wine instructors Tim Reed Manessy and Stephanie Guth will lead a seminar discussing biodynamic wines from around the globe, guiding us through an in-depth tasting of these wines. They will give an overview of the biodynamic practices followed on vineyards and wineries. The seminar will include a guided tasting of 12 organic and biodynamic wines from Ontario, Canada, and beyond.
