The ripe, medium-high intensity nose delivers lovely currant, cassis, and tobacco aromas in a mix of red & black fruits. It's medium+ bodied with spicy aroma replays on the flavour profile. It's supported by fresh acidity and supple, grippy tannins, while the finish length is very good. Tasted Apr. 2023.

Atypical Cab Franc here, with little of the herbal notes often found in Niagara Cab Francs. Now doubt, this is largely due to the long, warm, dry 2020 vintage. Ripe, red fruit-dominated (raspberry) with oak seemlessly folded in to the flavour profile. Firm but silky tannin on the finish. A very nicely done red here from Tawse that seems to be at peak drinking now.
