Dark, dense and deeply inviting nose of cassis, lots of purple flower, some eucalyptus and sweet, cool herbs....
This is a dark, soft, very ripe loosey-goosey juicy red with perfumed soapy, grapy/plummy fruit. No oak. It's full,...

nice wine, well balanced, lots of nose, excellent color, complex chocolate offset with tanins
Colour: cherry, purple rim. Nose: ripe fruit, fruit expression, cocoa bean, new oak. Palate: flavourful, fruity, powerful, round tannins. Score: 90 (Peñín Guide to Spanish Wine, 2009) 86
Better the second day; seemed rather vacant straight out of the bottle. The next afternoon however, with some Italian sausage and crackers this Spanish number was quite enjoyable showing dusty tannins, a mix of blackberry and cassis with some chocolate notes; finishes quite dry. Certainly worth a try, but let it breath for a while. (Northof9finewine, Feb 2011)
