Negroamaro is a dark-skinned Italian grape found mostly in the Puglia region and especially in the southern Salento area. Negroamaro produces "earthy" wines with dark fruit and aromatic spice flavours. It has relatively high tannins and high alcohol. Pair with grilled or braised meat or charcuterie.
